Salt Mines are Fun!

Relic underground salt mines from the 17th century, formerly known as workplaces, now house some of the most unique amusement parks that I have ever seen. These refurbished salt mines offer a wide range of things to do; the entertainment is abundant and different at each location.

Trip Advisor and Travel Guide Romania rate these underground parks highly, and rightfully so, mainly because of their ability to wow visitors of all ages. Business Insider named Turda “one of the ten coolest underground places in the world”.

I think I watched a documentary on the salt mines. This is a really cool posts, thanks for sharing. In the show I watched it showed little shops down in the salt mines and they talked about how cool the temps were down there. We need something like that here in Phoenix Arizona because it gets hot during the summer.

Souvenir shops line the entrance inside and outside as well. The temperature makes it a great summer destination and in the winter time it is also nice as long as you carry a jacket for outside. Temperatures inside the mine remain the same all year so you can get away with a light sweater.
