Crochet Bookmarks

These are great projects for any newbie crocheters out there. I am still new to the crocheting world and I found this to be quite simple. It took me approximately 15 minutes for the single colored one and approximately 25 minutes for the multi-colored one.

For both- you start with the tassled end by making a single chain as long as you wish. Then, you continue on and crochet the flower without cutting till the very end. For multiple flowers simply crochet as many as you want seperately and then tie them on by knotting multiple times so that they are really secure.

Here’s the video that I used to help guide me. I did modify it a little.

Youtube does have plenty of great videos for new crocheters… just like me. πŸ˜‰

There are a wide variety of projects for all levels of expertise and all kinds of things. Best advice I can give you is to go in with an idea of what you want to make, see what video(s) is/are best for you, and just give it a shot. Yarn is cheap so you don’t have much to loose. You never know… you might enjoy it!

Thank-you for stopping by and reading my post today. I would like to hear from you so please share any DIY ideas that you have below.

Really nice post and crochet. Try granny squares too – they can be lots of small ones that you join together into a blanket or you can just keep going into one big square. They’re just a lot of double crochet really. Waffle stitch is a good easy stitch to move onto after you master double.
