Goosebumps

I love it when you get to that special moment in a movie that makes you smile big and cry a little at the same time. That moment when you think to yourself… this just has to happen in real life, doesn’t it?

Well, I am happy to say that this kind of love does happen. When it does, when we are blessed to see stories about it, we get to feel joy for all of those involved.

Finding ways to give others goosebumps is as rewarding for them as it is for us. When we do something kind for someone else, especially if it is something that they cannot repay, we get to feel good about ourselves because we give them a glimpse of God’s love.

Proverbs 3:27-28 King James Version

27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.

Being a blessing towards others is something that needs to be done in the moment. Waiting can lead to other outcomes. It would feel horrible if a moment presented itself, and we hesitated, causing the end result to be less than what it should have been. In the case of this scene, imagine if Tutti didn’t get a home.

God uses us to help others, and others to help us, so if we all follow what is right we all get rewarded in His timing. Now turning to the Italian version of this name; let us all search out ways to help Tutti.

Have you seen this movie?

Whether you are new, or you have been here before, I want to thank you for reading this post today. If you are new, I would like to invite you back.

I hope that you are having a blessed Sunday.

Christy 🙂

Today was the day some people from our church visited the local nursing home. What a blessing! I got to pray for Emma who turned 86 today. Then we all gathered around her and sang Happy Birthday to her. She smiled at me. What a blessing!
