How do you like your chicken strips? I enjoy them grilled and fried (schnitzel). I usually prepare some of both when we are having chicken so that we get the variety we like.
Season the chicken strips, the night prior, with chicken flavoring and a little water.
For the grilled strips simply apply a little olive oil to the grill skillet and get started, turn them often till they are done (this usually takes about 8-10 minutes).
Schnitzel strips require an egg mixed in. Then, dip the strips into flour coating both sides prior to placing them in the oil. Turn them every two minutes till they reach this golden-brown color and a fork is easily inserted.
For the rice follow these simple steps:
- Saute 2 minced garlic cloves, a small onion, half a pepper and some mushrooms.
- Then, add rice with enough water to cover. Keep adding water till the rice is soft.
- When it is almost done, add one table spoon of butter and chopped parsley.
