Although this entire piece touched me, there are two lines which stood out for me the most:
- “We should be willing to open up if it helps one person.”
- “I accept you as you are.”
Please take a moment to read this post on Vulnerability from The Eclectic Contrarian.
I do hope that you enjoyed this post as much as I did! Immediately after reading I felt a sense of guilt because I have “hid” my issues in the past when they could have helped someone else. Why would I do that? This post is so true; “Fear of judgment, mockery, disapproval, and abandonment rival our feelings of vulnerability.”
Although I am more transparent now in my recent years, I am thankful for this reminder, because remaining this way could help someone else.
God bless you all! I hope that you have a great weekend!
