Post Share: Vulnerability

Although this entire piece touched me, there are two lines which stood out for me the most:

  • “We should be willing to open up if it helps one person.”
  • “I accept you as you are.”

Please take a moment to read this post on Vulnerability from The Eclectic Contrarian.

I do hope that you enjoyed this post as much as I did! Immediately after reading I felt a sense of guilt because I have “hid” my issues in the past when they could have helped someone else. Why would I do that? This post is so true; “Fear of judgment, mockery, disapproval, and abandonment rival our feelings of vulnerability.”

Although I am more transparent now in my recent years, I am thankful for this reminder, because remaining this way could help someone else.

God bless you all! I hope that you have a great weekend!

Christy 🙂

This is so true! some will judge your story but there will be some who are really moved by it and at least one person whose life will be changed because of it! I share my story for that ONE whose life will change after hearing it.
