Halloween Kid Crafts

I was inspired by “Our Little Red House Blog”  and Kelly to make these gems below. Their DIY- Stuffed Pumkins and Bats are beyond spookdorable! I adore both of their blogs. I hope that you visit and enjoy them as much as I do. 🙂

My daughter loves cats, owls, and dogs so we looked up creative ways to decorate for Halloween with her favorite animals. We found good examples of the first two online, so we made them…

She also wanted to make a spooky house for her Chelsea doll (Barbie’s youngest sister). Just thought I’d share that tidbit for those of you who are not up on Barbie’s family members! LOL!

What kind of decorations are you using for Halloween?  Are you into really spooky or spookdorable?

I hope that you all are doing well. I also hope that you have an amazing weekend!

If you have not been here before, and like what you see, please join us on Fridays for more ART and FUN! This is when I post crafting projects, drawings, newby poetry, or something that is simply fun!

Happy Friday!

Christy 🙂

Those owls and cats are super adorable. I go for the non-scary in our home but one year when my son was 8 he wanted some scary decorations, so I bought a bunch of skeletons, zombies and spiders to decorate our front porch…he loved it. I usually just have scarecrows, pumpkins and Jack’O’Lanterns. Tell your daughter her spooky house turned out great. And Thank you so much for mentioning my stuffed pumpkin crafts.

AWE. My pleasure! I am glad that you liked these too. 🤗 I sure will let her know because she was so proud of the window especially since it was her idea! 😁😉 She may like spooky too one day… we will see! 😺

Hi Meg! 🙋‍♀️ This was originally a box with an opening on one side. We cut down that side and painted the interior. The top on the cut side is decorative tape and so are the windows.. those are cut outs with tape covering. I am happy that you like this and hope this helps. 😊
