You Time

Let’s be carefree for a bit

Forgetting about what we have to do and just sit

Taking a moment to do soemthing we like

Be it a drawing, a poem, or some creative thought if we might

Time spent on being creative is always good

It allows us to look within and see what is under the hood πŸ˜‰

Here is my favorite sound of nature, especially during this time of year…

It is the sound of wind blowing through the leaves… this is music to my ear.

Second to this is the sound that the leaves make when they are being stepped on.

The sound of crunch and crakle make Autumn really fun!

I hope that you all are having an amazing week! I also wish you a great weekend ahead!

As always, I enjoy hearing from you. For any newcomers… welcome and I hope to see you again too.

What a cute little poem. I am not very good at taking time out for myself unfortunately but it is very important that we take some time to do the things we enjoy. I love nature and often stop and take the time to watch the birds or smell the flowers so the sound of autumn leaves rustling and that crunch crunch sound is very therapeutic.

Thank you very much Nicole. I hope to get better at these arts (poems, drawing and writing) because I find joy in them.

It is good to take a little time here and there, it doesn’t have to be daily, and you will see a positive mood afterwards. You deserve it! πŸ˜‰πŸ€—

I like the sound of your nature walks. Those are always a treat!

How brilliantly put! Such a great poem to encourage me to just take a bit of “me time”….. what’s that? Lol. No, just kidding. Love this! Oh, and LOVE the umbrella lady drawing! My daughter loves to sketch with pencil too.πŸ€—
