Positivity

Have you ever felt like you were stuck in a rut? Have you felt like this was it? I sure have! When I do, I try to get my positive mood back because… What is life when we are thinking poorly? It is sad. It is a less than desirable way to live and… what is the point in that?

Staying motivated and positive is awarded to those who want to feel this way, those who try to to maintain it, and those who get it back when it starts to slip. We may need help sometimes; a chat with a friend, a positive message online through a post or video, or most importantly… prayer.

The secret is to never give up! There is always a way to perk back up. Once this level of increased positive mindset has returned… use it! Of course it is better to stay positive to begin with, but lets face it, we are human and sometimes we just get down!

After talking to a friend yesterday, I felt better already. But then, as if God wanted to really show me that He was there for me, He gave me a message to read last night and then one again this morning that I would like to share with you all.

If you have not visited these blogs, please do! They are uplifting and positive. I enjoy them, so I am sure that you will too!

I also want to share a video clip on this topic:

Getting out of a negative mindset is possible. It can be done with “want to”, “maintenance”, and “recapturing”; be sure to fight for a life that is worth living, a positive one that makes you happy.

I hope that you all have a positive week ahead! As always, I look forward to hearing from you!

If you are new and enjoyed this, please stick around. On Mondays you will find something similar to this because we talk about things that are uplifting.

Prayer really helps me, too! Especially when I thank God for what He has done and praise Him for who He is. It helps me remember the good in my life and my faith becomes bigger than my problems. It is a daily task for me to keep my eyes on God and not my problems. Thank you for your encouragement!

So true! I am busy reading Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer! The condition of our minds are so important for success in life in general. Godly discipline in your thought life is probably one of the first things we should work on everyday as believers, this is where the enemy chooses to attack us the most. Great one hun! Thank you for sharing!

Great book! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Yes! Our thoughts either help or haunt us. I still work on this daily. Sometimes I get it right, and other times I do not, but when I do focus I keep a positive mindset. It is a better way to live. Thank you for your thoughtful comment Diane. πŸ€—

As both you and Wendi stated, we have to want to: want to be in a positive mood, to be motivated and encouraging to others, to feel joy. Some people, it seems, don’t want to; they seem to feed on wallowing in the pits of despair or on drama or feeling sorry for themselves. I think pride keeps us self-centered that way, and God is the only way out. He is the One Who lifts us out from our pits, Who gives us joy unspeakable.
Thank you for being a spark plug, for sharing your blessings, and showing The Way. 😊
