Mental Rest with God

This picture was taken a month ago from my small garden out back. I have always enjoyed looking up at the sky through a blanket of leaves.

Do you enjoy this type of view also? What nature images are most appealing to you?

There were traces of blue showing through, a blanket of green

The moment was quiet and serene

The wind blew

And God knew

I needed to talk

He suggested “Today, don’t go for your walk”

Stay with me a while”

I did, feeling freer than I ever could running a mile

Taking time to pause

Living in the moment instead of participating in my usual cause

The next day I ran faster than I had in a very long time

God was telling me something else now… “You will always do better if you are mine.

I recently read about some signs from God, so I wanted to share my story with you all as well. RyanΒ posted a great message in his recent post. I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I do. His site is amazing, so please be sure to check it out!

As always, I am happy to hear from you, so please let me know what you think.

If you are new and like what you have seen, please join us on Sundays when we discussΒ  God’s love.Β Happy Sunday Everyone!

Beautiful. I was meditating with mum, our usual evening meditation and the song verse was.. i rocked in his in lap , he is with me i do not need to wilt..

Your post reminds me of that.

I often just place myself in gods lap and let him rock me.. it is so healing and necessary

That bring up a memory of mine. I was reading a book on a patio. And then, all of a sudden, I decided to look up. There was a hanging flowerpot above. The leaves gave some shade. But the sun rays coming through in between just made me stop. It sounds quite like your story. I had a wonderful chat with Him, too.

This poem was amazing and I loved the view!
The type of view or environment I look looking at when it comes to mother nature is a waterfall and a rain forest.
Sometimes images with snow and mountains as well
I don’t like desserts or volcanoes
