When something is lost we look don’t we?
I remember a time at work when I lost the keys to the building! I was horrified! I thought I was such a loser. I called my boss to report what I had done and then the search began. I looked everywhere! Long story short, I had left them in my jacket pocket which I had placed inside of a secure place. Luckily she was understanding of me being silly (and she knew about my MS) so I got away with it but today I want to ask… Do I look for God the same way?
If we wanted to find something we would spend time and effort looking for it. God deserves more but He will be happy with simply the same effort. He says, “You will find me if you look for me.” It is that simple.
Jeremiah 29:13
13Β And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
I pray that you all have an amazing rest of your Sunday.
God bless you!

We donβt have to look far to find God. We just need to look into our hearts!

Sometimes we have to be still and let Him find us.

I LOVE this response John beacause it is so true! When we learn to slow down we do get to hear Him more. Thank you!

I think we would be amazed to see what we find if we looked for God in each instance, and looked for Him FIRST. He is so good about inviting us to seek Him, so kind about revealing Himself to us in such loving ways.

I agree! I enjoy how He pops up in the worst of times, and of course in the best of times, so long as we are looking for Him. When we look we can see His goodness in good and / or bad. Thank you Kathy. π€

What a wonderful comparison.
I remember when a co-worker of mine gently accused another one of stealing their sunglasses. And then they were found a year later in the winter jacket…

So true! When we put forth the effort to search for God as fine treasure and make the sacrifice to serve him, Jehovah reveals himself to us and the blessings are innumerable. (Proverbs 2:4,5; Matthew 13:45,46)
